Like millions of internet surfers i caught it too - The addiction , the disease, the uncontrollable urge to press the stumble upon button one more time.

I am currently at 20 stumbles per 10 seconds and going up. I no longer have time for cigarettes, drugs and alcohol for i spend my whole day stumbling.

Its finally over - fundraisings , meetings , protests ,activities. The sweet joy of doing nothing for one whole day. Then the reviews and plannings for more fundraisngs, meetings, protests and activities start again.
So how can i properly celebrate a free day without resorting to unhealthy activities ?

Heard it a thousand times but its the first time i felt it. Spent last Sunday trying to do good deeds. Even gave a lift to hospital to a motorist after he crashed his bike.
By the end of the day i was exhausted but i was so happy it felt almost like being high.
So the million dollar question is - Is it true that it feels better to give than to receive?
Can't say for sure. All i know is that last Sunday was one of the happiest days of my life.

First things first. Before we begin. Every time i say music in this post i mean METAL. Yes with capital letters because that's how it should be written. Heavy , gothic , symphonic , even nu metal.
Only metal and Classical can be called music. The other stuff is just sound that a few daft people happen to find mildly pleasing.

So what about ......

Rock - On the right track but didn't have the guts to take it to the next level.
Rap - Its not music its poetry with a beat. If you are a good poet your words don't need a beat to touch hearts. If your poetry sucks , adding a beat will not improve it.
Dance - yeah right. Next....
HipHop - What a waste. Great artists , wonderful voices and all they sing about is humping like dogs.

There are other genres. But i cannot do all the work. Have fun thinking of ways in which they suck and spread the word.

Back to the original thought. I finally figured out what's wrong with today's music.
Its not about the money. It has nothing to do with greedy produces or piracy.

Its about emotion.

Music should not stop at the ear. It should touch the soul.

Music should give you goosebumps on a hot summer afternoon , bring tears to your eyes on the happiest of days, make the Dalai Lhama want to punch someone and make you fall in love with your worst enemy.

If the music you are currently listening to does none of the above, you are either a heartless bastard ( like me) or you have been listening to the wrong kind of music
